RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position requires a strong understanding of IFRS and Mexico accounting and reporting rules and the ability to research and conclude on accounting issues including tax issues
  • Plan, direct and coordinate all accounting operational functions, including monitoring and oversight of the entire accounting cycle for Mexico entities.
  • Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across the Company.
  • Ensure Company financial records, under responsibility, are maintained in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivables activities
  • Manage collection service area

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or Economics
  • Minimum of 5 + years experience required in finance (Controlling, Consolidation & Reporting, Audit etc.)
  • Flexibility to understand the needs of the areas in terms of local regulation x facilitation of business in Mexico and USA.
  • Experience in designing processes and building bridges between different areas of the company
  • Experience in debt issuing processes would be a plus (would not be the most «commercial» person in DCM but could implement funding).
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to understand and interpret local tax requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks/initiatives, and meet established deadlines
  • Advanced personal computer skills i.e. MS Office, Google Docs
